Synopsis:

In Starry Heights, U.S., 2024, young writer Ren encounters a family at his book signing, triggering his past time travel experience. Transported to Shigaura, Japan, 1925, Ren experiences Kenji’s life as he falls in love with Yua, a kimono designer and tailor, while navigating the unexpected engagement with Chika, a wealthy family’s daughter. After studying medicine in London, Kenji becomes a medical assistant in Taiwan as WWII erupts. Confronted by the harrowing realities of war and experimental research, he questions humanity’s motives while grappling with love and loss. In countless parallels, Kenji, Yua, and other characters seek each other with regret and the strong belief that they will reunite, no matter the time, place, or appearance.
